Liz helped our family prepare for, and execute the sale of our mother's home about 8 months after her death. She and her business partner were not only knowledgeable about the market and thus able to guide us in the practical pieces of the process, they were also extremely good about helping us understand what we needed to do to prepare (update) the house for sale to get the best price, but not lose the character of the home. This means they were respectful of the emotional aspect of selling the home, but the realities of making the best sale possible. They were firm in the kindest way - and though we may have driven them a little batty with all the questions, they never faltered in making everything happen exactly as it needed to and exactly on schedule.

Liz represented us for both purchasing a new home as well as selling our family home of 16 years, which was a huge life event for us. We could not have been more pleased - she is an exceptional agent. Her ability to know when to lean in or give space at just the right moments throughout the process is exceptional. She was never pushy, but gently nudged us when necessary. We followed her professional guidance and intuition and it paid off very well for us. She is kind, patient, and maintains a sense of humor, which is important! Both transactions went smoothly and she did her best to make the process as painless as possible. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

We are new to the East Bay and were referred to Liz by a friend of a friend. What a lucky break! We had only a few months to figure out the right neighborhood for us and find a house there to meet our needs-- a very tall order-- and it's largely thanks to Liz that we were able to pull it off. We saw more than 40 homes with her at a breakneck pace, and she was an incredible guide to the process and the quirks of the local market. Again and again, Liz went above and beyond for us, always operating with patience, grace, and flexibility. We landed an absolutely beautiful home in an ideal neighborhood for us, and we didn't even have to break our budget. Our experience with Liz was great throughout the entire home buying process. She was personable and professional, helping us understand various neighborhoods, the pros and cons of different homes, and the art of putting in a bid. She has a great team around her as well, so that if we needed more information on getting a loan or talking to contractors, it was all available immediately. Liz is one of a kind. I recommend her hands down. I literally cannot imagine a better realtor to have had. People usually focus on the end results, and there she can't be beat in our book. She helped us get our first home, which we've been in for 6 months in Berkeley. It was our first ever offer, and our friends had told us that could never happen--we would have to live with many letdowns before having one work out in this market. In this case, there were 28 other offers and we weren't even the highest bidder, but Liz helped with the relationships and ensuring our credibility with the sellers and their realtor, in addition to helping us make the strongest offer possible when we didn't have the money to bid higher. We also closed on the day when the shelter in place order went into effect--there were many stressors and novelties, and she handled them all in a breeze. But really, what makes Liz extraordinary is more than the end result but the process along the way. She made house hunting non-stressful, even enjoyable. She was patient and kind, extraordinarily knowledgeable, connected to everyone and eager to make sure we had all our questions answered no matter how out there. And we just felt like she understood us. I had a friend along with us on one of our house visits, and the house was unimpressive, but my friend said afterwards, "I didn't know that there were realtors like *that*!" Don't know if there are others like her, but I do know - and deeply appreciate - that there is ONE. The best.

We spent almost a year with Liz looking for a house in this difficult market. She was patient, resourceful and knowledgeable. Unlike many agents, she is empathetic and didn't try to push a sale. Liz is one of a kind!
